I loved this TV show as a kid, but upon seeing the opening credits recently, I suspect this show sucked mightily. If you remember any of the Krofft Super Shows from the early 70′s, guess what? They were created under the influence of psychedelic drugs! Just like all the classics.
I’m guessing the boys were on one bad trip (downers?) when they came up with Dr. Shrinker. Maybe they were listening to Let’s Get Small by Steve Martin. (Ha ha – good one!)
It kinda looks like a mashup of Rocky Horror / Dark Shadows, don’t it? Still, Billy Barty and that bitchin’ theme song… Maybe it was pretty groovy show after all.
