Did I really draw this in 1987? I was working the night shift at a gas station, saving up to backpack thru Europe that summer, so I had a LOT of free time to draw.
Yes that really was my hairstyle (and color), including the dapper ‘stache. Sure I look massively stud-some and all, and my kung-fu grip rulez, but where are the unicorns?

Your drawing has nicely designed composition and fantastic attention to detail with the geometric designs and strategic use of line. It’s good to look back to get perspective. The stuff you’re doing now seems to flow out of you more from within and it seems like something’s cooking that’s for sure. Any drawings of Marvin from 1987? I bet he was an Eighties rocker…..
