I feel the need to make a comment on the deeper metaphorical implications of this image and the act of running away. I’m not saying that’s what this image is about because on a health side running is actually quite a spectacular endeavor. On the running away aspect I’d like to share a philosophy that I live by and has changed my life many times: If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you keep getting what you’ve always got. Whenever I want to change something I do something different and break out of my habits, and try something new. Just like running a mile or two it isn’t easy.

Smooth colorizations matched with unique abstract drawing lines give this dynamic figure heightened drama and contrast.
