I wish my Ma had lived to vote in this election. I remember how blown her mind was was the Berlin wall came down. I can only imagine how excited she would be today!
She was born after the beginning of one Depression and passed on just before we began another — weird! It truly broke her heart to see what Bush was getting away with on a daily basis. (sigh)
Anyway, thank god all this era of conservative pandering/fearmongering is over!
