…and we has a theme! From 1991-93 comes yet another strip destined for inclusion in Don’s Suicide Comics (A Not-O-Biography). I think I was trying to write In My Life, if you get the metaphor, but instead opted for the quick way out, if you’ll forgive the pun.
The last three panels of p.3, and the first two on p.4 totally deflate the story by being both mundane and genuinely boring, but the “Produce” panel on p.4, and “I was going to find a purpose in my art” on p.2 are worthwhile. I also really like the angsty, proto-Unabomber teen Don. He’d be a good character for the Intoxi-Katie show.
