I used Wordle.net to sift the most oft-used words from the lyrics of the last 80 (or so) songs I’ve written, and generate this heatmap to reveal the common threads of my ouvre. I made this collage by overlaying several variations of the image.
I, you, and, the, to, me were most populous, but culling the articles and common pronouns, the remaining key words were know, want, just, like, love, always, and never. These words are my apparent secret heart, the soul of that relentless sculptor of music, I, now splayed open like a wanton virgin on her wedding bed!
